1 These amazingly beautiful wash basins are in the Ladies’ loos at Mpumalanga Airport.
2 I’ve always loved this philosophy for life and enjoyed this lovely old photo that came with it in a message from a friend.
3 Going through some old photos, I found this of a beautiful little street that I took one summer.
1 The sky is the most beautiful blue today, cloudless and quite stunning.
2 Leaning against the tree trunk and looking up though the tree that is greening up with new growth was lovely and attracted a few odd looks in town this morning!
3 I posted a mother leopard with a cub up on a mound for this week’s Photo Challenge and found this lovely Cheetah as I was going through the photos of our trip to South Africa.
1 In Penryn today, this shiny blue drainpipe caught my eye, then the delightful folds in the shadow of the Belisha beacon so I crossed the street to get a better shot of the whole lovely house. The door and the pipe are almost the colour of the deep blue sky behind and the unexpected beauty of it all took my breath away.
2 The grey branches and the soft green leaves of the Eucalyptus tree looked so beautiful against the bluest of skies. How we have missed blue skies over these last few grey months!
3 I’ve just finished some second size boots which should fit our nearly-due Grandchild in the Autumn as the weather is getting colder again. The matching cardigan is almost done.
1 A truly beautiful and warm Autumn day today and we spent most of it in the garden doing a general tidy up.
2 The bluest sky all day…
3 Tonight it was the annual City Of Lights parade in Truro. Every school, college and many businesses make paper lanterns from the simple ones that the children make to the most elaborate and enormous effigies. The theme was royalty and there were crowns and kings and queens galore. It is a delightful affair. and thousands turn out to watch the parade which also has bands, drummers and dancers.
1 This morning the sea on the horizon as seen from our bedroom was a really deep blue.
2 Driving to Truro, this beautiful sky opened up as we turned a corner.
3 Such a bright and beautiful blue sky with the spires of Truro Cathedral lit up by the sun – just lovely.
I’m trying out the new gallery format here. What do you think? Somehow all the photos are below as well so you have a good comparison!
