The new post box topper is to commemorate Armistice day. I was pleased to see that a white poppy of peace has been included.
Very kindly, I was given a beautiful white rose which I have put in a tiny green glass vase that was my Mum’s. 
We’ve been next door this evening at a Diwali feast and I made some Barfi with ginger and almonds to take as part of the dessert. It went down well.
