Baby Sweater and Beanie Hat for KniTZTanzania

I am knitting for KnitzTanzania who collect together these little hats and sweaters which will go to help save the lives of new-borns in Tanzania where Hypothermia can seriously damage or even kill premature and newborn babies in the Tanzanian Highlands. If you would like to join me, here are the instructions followed by lots of examples made by me and some lovely friends.

When it comes to the casting off and on again for the neckline, I use a bigger needle to make sure it stays loose enough to go over a baby’s head.
