Wooden Heart, Granny’s Bonnets and A Surprise
I’ve been trying to catch a shot of the heart shape on a fallen tree ever since Storm Goretti and today, as we drove past, I just about managed it, albeit a bit fuzzy.
My Suffragette Garden has purple and white Granny’s Bonnets beginning to flower.
In February, when the Tête à Tête were flowering, we found a small bag of bulbs we had missed in the October planting. We popped them in a pot anyway and now, in May, they are blooming.
And today we fondly remember Ti on her birthday.
Squirrel, Blue Tit and Earrings
Our squirrel visitor is enjoying the fat balls we have put out for the little birds. Here, it just posed for the photo!
We hope the Blue Tits will make our box their home but they don’t seem to have decided properly yet.
I bought some lovely colourful new earrings at the market yesterday, made by a local maker, Chilli-G by the sea.
