Window, Cake and An Angel

Last night, walking through Newlyn we spotted this lovely and dramatic stained glass window set into a shiny black front door.

We made Chocolate Beetroot Cake today to share with friends, enough mixture left over for little buns with cream cheese icing and crystallised beetroot hearts on top.

Today is the birthday of one of our Ukrainian friends, Danylo, and this little angel in the colours of Ukraine with a sunflower for its decoration is here for him. Happy birthday, Danylo. .

Making, Baking and More Fungi

I am loving getting back to my stained glass work. Today I have been working on a very special present for one of our LiveWires. I can’t show you until after Christmas! I have also cut out some angels today and have been choosing the beads to enhance them. A lovely shop owner of Artyzan in town, has said she would like to try a few for me!

I’ve made more of the Mini Pork Pies today as they make such a tasty and easy dinner, ten now in the freezer, two eaten for dinner tonight.

Mini Pork and Bacon Pies

Another pair of Fungi caught our eyes on our walk today, gorgeous rich toffee colour.

Bag, Stickers and Angels

My bag for the People’s Vote March next Saturday arrived today along with a couple of stickers, in  Cornish.

I have now completed eight stained glass angels for the Christmas market. Here are a couple, all  reclaimed  glass, some. of. it. Victorian, and re-cycled bits  of  jewellery.
