Weekly Photo Challenge – Colour in Nepal and India

11 Apr

India and Nepal are the most colourful places I’ve ever visited. The women in their beautiful saris, the houses, the buses, the shops and stalls – everything! I took my most colourful clothes with me but I felt quite drab – until I was dressed in a sari!

I did come home with a rather stuffed case but regretfully, I didn’t buy the sari. Couldn’t imagine where I would wear it in Cornwall! 🙂

Beautiful, vibrant colours – I’m heading to Nepal in 4 weeks time and one of the things I’m really looking forward to is all of the colourful fabrics.

Have a wonderful time! The people are amongst the friendliest we’ve met, the scenery is stunning and the colours just beautiful. Are you going trekking as our daughter did or just visiting as we did? 🙂

Beautiful! I have been to Nepal three times, but have yet to make it up to Pokhara. I always go for work but one day I will have to go trekking. I LOVE the photo of you in the sari! I have one, too, but am not brave enough to post it. Thanks for the lovely photos!
