Teddy Bear, Sunbeams and Christmas Bunting

My morning was spent happily with the couple whose Wedding Ceremony I am conducting tomorrow and then we set off to Marazion to hunt for pretty pebbles and sea glass. We found some lovely pebbles but only one piece of sea glass. On the beach, a family’s picnic towel and stuff were being guarded by a monster Teddy Bear.

It was a fabulous warm sunny day and there were dozens of people enjoying the beach.

One of our Christmas cards was a do-it-yourselves row of bunting which I put together yesterday and we love it.

Mount’s Bay, Nigella and Borage

After going to Apple Crumble in Penzance to collect our mended iMac,we stopped off in Mounts Bay, one of our favourite places. We watched the activity in the bay and had the most delicious ice creams. 

    
 Everything in the garden grew like crazy while we were in London. The Love-in-a-mist, the Nigella is all in flower. The structure of these flowers is quite exquisite.

 The Borage is flowering too. I love using the beautiful blue flowers in salads.

Heart Glow, Happiness and I Love Libraries

1   Some days you just need a boost and today that came from phone calls from two of our daughters, one to tell me that as Grand-baby B grows she looks more and more like me. That made my heart glow!  The other was to ask if they can come for New Year (of course!)

2   Happiness is phone calls from those who love you and ginger ice-cream by the sea.

3   Do watch Scroobius Pip’s animated poem ‘Library’ – commissioned by Chris Hawkins for BBC 6 Music’s celebration of libraries and performed live on his show in November 2014.  It is brilliant! Please feel free to share it as far and wide as possible.
