Snowdrops, Primroses and Native American Sense

27 Jan

1 While I’ve not been looking, the Snowdrops have suddenly appeared.

Snowdrops in our garden

2 The Primroses have been going all through this mild (but extremely wet) winter.

I love Primroses

I love Primroses

3 The more I hear of what our short-sighted government considers the right way to look after our land, the more I want to make them think in the ways of the Native Americans.

If only the North Americans felt this way. Fortunately the trend is getting so it’s a less hippie idea but there is a long way to go.

I meant the original North Americans, the Native Americans, of course! Thank you for your comment that helped me get it right.
Yes, a very long way to go and with Owen Patterson in charge, the way gets longer every time he opens his mouth. 🙁

At first sight I wondered what a photo from my garden was doing on your blog. 🙂 These brave flowers brighten the dreary winter days.

They do! It’s lovely to know they are flowering in a Breton garden too! 🙂

That poster should be above every politician’s desk everywhere. The sentiment has been disregarded by them all. Our snowdrops have done the same – I noticed them today as I fed my chucks. Malc

I want to parcel it up and post it to our minister for the Environment who seems not to have a clue! 🙂

It was a real delight to get up from my sick-bed to find the snowdrops. A real tonic! I feel pretty good tonight. Glad you are better too. 🙂
