Helping, Beaching and Warming Up

01 Apr

1    There’s always loads of washing when the little ones are here but also willing helpers to put it up on the rack. The little Christmas tree hat I made is still a favourite!

2   Despite the bitter wind, a visit to the beach at Porthtowan is a vital component of a family holiday so off we went. J, his Daddy and Mr S went off rock pooling and we gave up and went to the cafe where …..

3  …….. hot chocolates went down very well.

We had a clothes rack that unfolded for hanging clothes inside…Gosh…that seems forever ago!…Love your helper…and to be able to go to the beach and check out the pools…how neat is that!

Oh it looks like you all have so much fun! The chocolates look divine- I may have to find a recipe so we can try those ourselves (maybe with a nice hot cup of coffee) 😉
I love the rack idea and actually have one myself! There is nothing like dried on the line clothes, but the rack is a close second. Not paying for the electricity from the dryer is even better still! 🙂

It was a lovely day thank you! I do love my rack. It is so damp here in Cornwall that the old rack gets used a lot! The frames were my parents’ and have been in countless different houses! Thank you for calling in and taking the time to comment. 🙂

I spent Saturday at the beach, it was actually warm enough to spread a blanket out on the sand and sleep to the sound of the waves coming in from the ocean.

Perfect roll on the breaker and perfect keepsakes of grand kiddies. And a perfect warming up’r after a day beaching it. Ah now that’s life.

Oh I would be torn between rockpooling and hot chocolate! Maybe both. Wish they made racks like that over here, I always have stuff drying around the woodstove on floor standing models.

My frames have been in the family for years and years. We renewed the wood when we moved here.It is , indeed, very useful.
It was just too cold for T today after she’d been poorly but I do agree – both would be best! 🙂
