1 An email from a dear friend saying that I have just made her day!
2 Four horses in the field behind us today.
3 Beautiful simple supper of grilled peppers with garlicky tomatoes and grilled Halloumi on top and served with some crispy bread to soak up the juices. Scrumptious!

Now I have to go find out what Halloumi is.

It’s a fabulous salty cheese that stays together when heated rather than melting all over the place! It’s great on skewers with vegetables on the barbecue too, for the same reason. 🙂

Halloumi peppers – sounds wonderful. Every Friday evening we pop down to a little restaurant and I inevitably have halloumi as a starter. I love the stuff – never had it with peppers though. Need to try that.

I’ll post the ‘how to’ in my food pages later today. It really is very easy and very tasty 🙂
