2 I went out in the front garden today and did some pruning and some weeding. It is such a very long time since I was able to do such simple things and it gave me great pleasure. Our Spring garden is looking lovely with Daffodils, three colours of Primroses and some Wallflowers.
3 There was a most attractive plant in the Flowerpot carpark in town today. I think, after some research, that it is a Euphorbia characias ‘Black Pearl’

The Euphorbia characias ‘Black Pearl’ looks interesting. I have yet to tackle the garden,. I think there is one somewhere under the weeds. A mishap with a cafetiere of hot coffee changed my plans and the kitchen needed to be washed down. Who knew a one cup pot held so much liquid? Maybe tomorrow…..!

Oh, no! I am always amazed at how much there is when there is a spill! Who knew how much a dishwasher held until it decided to put the water on the floor? (Years ago – but just remembered!) The trouble with Spring is that the weeds wake up too and they are a bit like a one cup coffee pot – there are so many more of them than can be imagined! 🙂
