1 The Cornish food market on Lemon Quay was very busy this morning and I bought some delicious Duck burgers which we have just had for supper. The Cornish Duck stall also had dozens of beautiful duck eggs in shades of pale blue and white.
2 It is Asparagus season. The stall was bursting with piles and piles of this most delicious vegetable.
3 The Echium in a neighbour’s garden is huge!

So delicately blue aren’t they? They look so fragile but in fact are quite hard to crack open.
Hope Uni is going well! 🙂

Likes Asparagus, because it’s not Broccoli. Here you can still pick it wild if you know where to look. Steamed Asparagus, butter and a good crust French bread -good shtufffs.
My father was gaga over all things ducky. Your picture, once again you show a great eye for subtlety. The pastel shade of light blue sit amongst the white -lushes best describes it.
Now thats an Echium.
happy sun day

I seem to veer away from “duck” eggs…but, it’s not what we were accustomed to eating when I was growing up…how beautiful in color…and asparagus…love it…introduced by Mom …creamed on toast…yummy!…

Fourth meal from our asparagus patch tonight, in a crustless 2-cheese quiche with more asparagus on the side! I should try my neighbor’s duck eggs, shouldn’t I? saw the sign out today.
