We went out sailing today with our very good friends P&A and what a day it was! From previously only pootling around in the training boat to full-on sailing out of the harbour, out past Black Rock, Pendennis Point, past Gyllyngvase Beach to near Maenporth and back, this time against the tide and what fun, all the while getting to know our Skippalong with our lovely friend P talking us through what was going on. There is a very special kind of quiet when you are sailing, just the wind and the water – magic. There’s a special kind of happy exhaustion at the end of the day too!
