1 National Bake Your Own Bread Week is coming to an end so today I baked a Sunflower Seed and Linseed tear and share loaf for lunch with our eldest daughter, M, who was visiting today.
2 I baked an Asparagus tart this afternoon for a picnic with friends on the boat tomorrow.
3 I picked our whole Rhubarb crop today (it is only in its second year) and made our favourite and very delicious pudding with it, especially as M was with us. Click here for the how-to-do-it recipe.

I made an asparagus crustless quiche for spinning lunch today. Came home with one tiny slice! Do you have a recipe for your tear and share bread? that would have gone down well today too.

I KNOW I can smell it all…the rolls especially!
My Mom cooked Rhubarb…sometimes with strawberries for pie…and sometimes just to eat on toast!

Mmmmmmmm – those rolls and the tart looks absolutely delicious!
(I’d give the rhubarb a miss though… can’t stand rhubarb)
