1 After a fabulous singing session today, the lovely Mr S met me and we went off to Falmouth. The park that we walked through was full of Echiums. They are at least 6′ tall, flower only once every three years and they seem alive with the buzzing of the bees. The other plant, the yellow one, just as tall is new to me. Any ideas?
2 After visiting our boat, we sat on the harbourside with a cool glass of wine and watched the world go by. A young artist was at the table beside us and was happy for me to take a photo of her sketch and the people she was sketching.
3 Falmouth Harbour was looking beautiful.

Your pictures depict a perfect day. -that shines through. As for the plant, the movie Alien came to mind first off. Did it pop out of someones belly.

Think your yellow plant is Chilean and is called something like Puya?
