Bliss, Free Coffee and Laughter

15 Jan

1  Oh, bliss! I’ve been to the Osteopath whose magic hands have made walking and standing without pain possible again!

2   We went shopping in Truro before going to the theatre tonight. One of my favourite shops kindly had coffee and biscuits on the house for all shoppers on this cold, wet afternoon. Just look at the beautiful china cups and saucers with which they trust their customers!

3   At The Hall for Cornwall, we saw Dr Phil Hammond who had his audience in stitches! If you get the chance to go to one of his shows, take it. You’ll come away all the better for the laughter! Click on the red link if you’d like to know more.

What an awesome day. You live so LIVE, Sally :). Love the free hot drinks. Just reading that sign and seeing the photo, I can totally feel that heart warming feeling at the invitation.

Lovely isn’t it? It’s the same shop that has the children’s corner and where they put out iced lemonade in the summer! 🙂

Glad the osteopath helped! Sounds like a lovely shop to offer hot drinks on china.

So was I admiring the cups. So much nicer than paper, styrofoam or whatever throw-away.

Pleased you enjoyed Phil Hammond..we saw him in Winchester a couple of months ago.
    He was so funny.
I was sorting through a bookcase in the gr and children’s bedroom and put all your dad’s books together. Two copies of Jeremy Visick, Jumping Jack, Mums Winning Streak and Thimbles….how talented your dad was ….his books are so good. I think I might read Jeremy again. I so enjoy it although I get a bit emotional at the end. One of the best children’s books…brilliant.

That is so lovely to hear! Thank you. I hope you enjoy your next reading. Have you been to Gwennap Churchyard to see the Martin gravestone? x

I love going to my eye doctor. Not because I enjoy the visit….but because there is always hot coffee. Just paper cups for us. Maybe I should suggest a plate of cookies might be nice.

    Glad you are feeling better!!
