Sunset, Jewel Colours and More

Sunset two nights ago was glorious. I took this at 10.05pm and even as night fell there was an orange haze at the horizon that lasted such a long time.

One of our walks takes us past a fabulously coloured Hydrangea.

Our Sweet Peas are also fabulous.

Capricorn Moon, Hector and A Bit of Blue

Last night’s moon was huge! By the time we got home from Truro, it was even more obscured by the clouds but that made for such a dramatic picture. Click on the photo to see the whole scene. I’m not sure why it is called a Capricorn as that star sign is six months away. Perhaps one of my lovely readers will be able to tell me.

Today in the Osteopath’s office was the second dog that I have fallen in love with! He is called Hector and is both beautiful and a delight. He wanted to play and sat on command for me to take his photo. The first was Kaia, a beautiful Golden Labrador.

On the walk home I spotted this tiny bit of beautiful blue in the middle of this lovely Hydrangea.DSCN3270

Blue, Yellow and Good Advice

1   The hydrangeas are still flowering. Though most of the flowers have gone over, this one is still beautifully blue and fresh.

2   Across the road from us is a splendid Rose of Sharon covered in blossoms still.

3    I like this advice and try to live by it though jumping on trampolines might be a bit risky!

Sally Boots, Skeleton Flower and Cornish Honey

1   I have finished the Sally-boots for our newest choir-baby.

2  The wild wet winds have blown some beautiful skeleton Hydrangea blossoms against our window.

3   My lovely neighbour brought round some Cornish honey to aid my recovery and I had some with cinnamon today. It was truly delicious! Thanks, S!
