Singing, Mural and An Angel

After an uplifting singing session which we all felt the need of after yesterday’s vote in our House of Commons, I went to one of my favourite shops, Just Delights, in Penryn. The mural on the wall  is changed each season and here, of course, is Winter.

Every year I buy a new Angel for our Christmas tree and found this delightful little one in the shop.

Weekly Photo Challenge – Transition

Anyone who lives in Cornwall will recognise this copse which signals the transition from England to Cornwall and home. It is actually in Devon but shows us that we are nearly there. Both photos were taken today from the moving car as we returned from Bristol. It is always good to come home!

Day Out in Bristol

What a lovely day we are having! Christmas is in full swing in the shops and the decorations are simple and lovely. The  red and green bottle brushes were very effective and the silver disc caught the light and threw it around. They hung the whole four floors of the shop.

The lights throughout the mall were also simple and very pleasing. I do like simple!
