Cornwall Museum and Art Gallery

13 Oct

We had a few hours in Truro between appointments today, 9 am and 12 noon, and visited the Museum and Art Gallery where there is a new exhibition I’ve been wanting to see, Art Any Way.

In the gallery was one of David Kemp’s Tinners’ Hounds, known affectionately as Welly Dog (See here for our very own Welly Dog), work by Terry Shaul, Julian Christophers (a favourite local artist) and many more. Enjoy this small selection from the gallery.

When we arrived there was a family sitting on bean bags and story telling going on in front of a very beautiful paper sculpture. Not wanting to take photos of strangers or disturb the scene to ask, here is the paper sculpture and I leave you to imagine the lovely scene we came across.

I wish I know the maker to credit here.

Oh, so do I, so vibrant, so full of life and colour. I wish I could have one but they are pretty expensive… Perhaps I should be saving up! 🙂
