1 The blossom on a local Cherry tree is just gorgeous in the sunlight.
2 Primroses on a Cornish hedge were lit by the sunshine too.
3 While we were away, our neighbours had one of a pair of beautiful trees taken down. This one is so far safe but I have the saddest feeling that it too will soon go so am saving it here for posterity. The next photo was taken when both trees were there.So much birdlife loves this tree and so do we.

P.S. I have posted the recipe for Chocolate Beetroot Cake today. It is one of the best cakes I have ever made, moist and chocolatey and very moreish!

It seems amazing that spring is still doing its glorious thing after all the storms and terrible weather you’ve been having… primroses… blossom… gorgeous, and your chocolate cake is obvi0usly going to ruin my waist-line !!!

Why are the trees being removed???…hate to see this too…although sometimes it’s necessary…Gorgeous photos of blossoms…

We don’t know. I’ve called there three times but had no answer yet. There have been a couple removed down the lane because they had a fungus disease and it’s possible that these have two but I want to know!
The blossom is heartening isn’t it? 🙂

Terrible isn’t it? I knocked twice today to ask if the next one is going too but got no answer. I’ll try again tomorrow. Hope you are settling where you have gone. You moved out when we were away so I had no chance to wish you well.
