We met my brother and SIL again for lunch today – what a treat it is to have them around for so long. Today we went down to The Pandora Inn on Restronguet Creek, a truly beautiful setting.

After lunch we went back to visit the delightful houseboat that they are staying in this week.

Today has been so filled with beauty! First there was the beauty of human voices in harmony singing at Krowji’s Open studios event. Then of course, there was the beauty created by the artists in all sorts of media – such talent. For lunch we went down to The Pandora Inn (I had scallops, of course) and then on to Mylor, more water and the fascinating old graveyard there.

My eleven year old and much loved Beetle Cabriolet has a non-functioning soft top! However, I love how the windows open so completely allowing the wonderful scent of Summer hedgerows into the car. I so wish I could bottle it for you and share it. It is intoxicating!
Tonight at choir we sang songs of peace in honour of our friend Paul who is about to embark on a walk from Rome to Jerusalem, a walk of about 1500 miles in the name of Peace and Reconciliation. I so admire what he is doing and will post more shortly about his endeavours.
