Breakfast, Beach and A Bench

04 Oct

We had the best of breakfasts this morning at The Blue Bar in Porthtowan and spent several happy hours with our dear friends before having a stroll along the almost empty beach and then driving off to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth.

Loaded banana bread with crispy bacon

View from our room at the Hearts Together Hospital Hotel ready for my lovely Mr S to have an operation on his spine tomorrow.

Much appreciated. We are both feeling much better this evening than we were yesterday. I should be able to take him home tomorrow. It’s strange being in this hotel room alone but The Hearts Together is a wonderful place to be when in this situation. 🙂

Warm thoughts and healing light gratefully received. It’s a big relief now that’s over. Home tomorrow we hope and that will be really good. 🙂
