Having left my lovely Mr S in the care of the surgeon, I took a walk in the woods just behind the Hearts Together hotel. Being in the trees and among the leaves is such a healing and peaceful thing to do when feeling under pressure.

I met the surgeon as I arrived at the ward and he said all has gone well.
On the nurses’ desk was a delightful knitted witch or maybe wizard or maybe it’s Harry Potter!

Good morning to you, I’m collecting him today, I hope and driving back home . It’s a couple of hours and we have worked out all the stops so that he isn’t sitting too long. I will keep you posted. xx 🙂
