More Lottie Loveliness and Elephants

12 Aug

I walked about the allotment this afternoon and found more lovely splashes of colour.

It’s International Elephant Day today. I love elephants, a love I shared with my dear, much missed, friend Angie. A few years ago on a special holiday in South Africa, the lovely Mr S and I came across a herd and enjoyed watching this youngster.

Gorgeous splashes of colour all over the allotment – very cheering. 🙂

Beautiful post. African elephants and indiginous flowers. ( Agapanthus and Montbretia)

Very glad you loved the post. It was a pleasing one to do with the lovely colours and then a baby elephant. Such lovely memories of that trip. 🙂

Hard to decide which flowers are the loveliest. They are all beautiful!

They certainly are and brighten up the mostly green environment of the allotments. 🙂
