I saw a recipe last week that looked and sounded delicious – Juicy Peach Raspberry Cake – and I made it today. It did taste good but didn’t look as good as the original. My peaches were white not orange which made a difference but I was able to use some of our own raspberry crop which is excellent this year.
Our Lily buds have opened at last. Their scent is filling the garden.
We went by Truro today and the flower display along the dual carriageway is wonderful. I took this photo from a moving car and although out of focus I love the serendipity of it looking as if the car has a roof full of flowers!
