Sunny Afternoon in September

27 Sep

We’ve spent the sunny afternoon in the arbour reading! Can’t remember doing so little for so long. I’m reading The Red Tent by Anita Diamant and loving it.    Just two photos for you today, Hesperantha Pink Princess (though it’s white!) and a cobweb on the box hedge, catching the sunshine.

Beautiful flower, but I always love a good spider web for its unique design. I can’t say I like being around spiders, but I do admire their amazing craftsmanship. 🙂

I love the webs too, quite fascinating and wonderful to watch in the making. 🙂

Nice that you’re taking it easy today. We need to allow ourselves that from time to time in this crazy, hectic time.
