Our visit to Godolphin House in Cornwall really lent itself to this Challenge. Here is a gallery of some of the many doors in this fabulous 15th century house, unique in England in its design. Click on any photo for detail and the caption. For others in this Challenge, click here.
Weekly Photo Challenge – Doors

What a great variety of doors all at the one venue. You will be able to use most of them again if the topic is: ‘locks’. I love the idea of looking through and beyond.

Thank you so much for the music! This was/is one of our favourites, played many many times and bringing back some lovely memories. Perfect accompaniment to the Photo Challenge. 🙂

Music, (past, present and future) is part of our everyday lives -more than just sound to listen to and pacify. Though it does have that quality of ‘magic carpet ride’. The good songs, like this, have an endless shelf life for the two you it would seem. Doors are never just doors, an a song is never just a song. Just as Paul’s Peace Walk and poet Mary Oliver are important, it is in the gesture they offer , an opportunity, that opens our eyes -fingers crossed in defiant optimism.
