1 St Ives was looking beautiful in the sunshine. We had a delicious vegetarian meal in Spinacio’s overlooking the harbour before going on to The Blues Festival.
2 The Blockheads were top of the bill tonight (as Wilko Johnson is recovering from an operation) and they did all the favourites, Reasons to be Cheerful, Hit Me with your Rhythm Stick, Sweet Gene Vincent, Clever Trevor….. I liked the colours on the sound desk.
3 The moon over St Ives was lovely tonight but my eye was taken by a display of mushrooms in a small restaurant that we passed on our way back to the car park.

Exceptional sunny blue sky over yonder of late. A very photogenic harbour; most have it going on but this one is a grade or two above. A stairway of mushrooms, very lyrical and whimsical in presentation -artful.

It has been beautiful for several days! We are relishing the blue and the sunshine not knowing how long it will last. I loved the mushroom display too, quirky and lovely at the same time. 🙂

Hello MBT, lovely as always.
My own page is down for a bit, I am missing our remote chats, nice to drop in here though.

Glad to see you here. I was a bit concerned and likewise missing the remote chats. I hope you’ll keep dropping by and will let me know when your page is back up.
Hope the Flora Day dancing went well despite the weather. I watched on the web cam but didn’t spot the kilt!
Take care 🙂
