1. It’s L’s birthday next week and we took the family out for lunch to celebrate. Her choice of dessert was Chocolate Fudge Cake with Salted Caramel Ice-cream – with a candle!
2 T, a tree surgeon, found a beautiful piece of oak which he has sliced and made into a flower.
3. In T and L’s garden there are lots of mushrooms, almost a complete fairy circle which is delightful.

Thank you! I love the way T saw the potential in a piece of wood, sliced it up and there was a flower – so beautiful. 🙂

I always wondered what a fairy circle is – now I know. I had read the term many times, but never looked it up.

It’s quite rare to see a complete one. This is the best I’ve seen in a long time. 🙂

Not sure. We talked about perhaps framing it to go on the wall but I think it should somehow be frame free so that the shape loses nothing of its beauty. 🙂

The oak flower is gorgeous and is such fun for the viewer; eye candy for a gardener.
