Weekly Photo Challenge – Up

20 Apr

We were coming back from a safari when the guide suddenly pointed out these two leopards, mother and cub up on a mound. We watched these beautiful animals for some time as the sun was going down.

Stunning. It’s on my bucket list to do this. My cousin lives in Kenya and when she was younger she was on horse back. She was about to go under a tree when a leopard’s tail swished down. It was a good reminder to avoid the trees!

Being on safari is one of the best things we have ever done. We have seen some amazing animals and behaviours. Do go when you get the chance. πŸ™‚

Leopards are so difficult to see in the wild, you guys were a very lucky lot.

Yes, we were! We saw a cheetah on that trip too – and I think they are even harder to spot in the wild. πŸ™‚

Oh yes you did! In fact when I saw a leopard in the wild, the only part visible was its head and it was so relaxed it didn’t bother to stand up!
