St Mawes, Foxes and An Optimist

21 Jul

1   It was our turn to take the ferry over to St Mawes to spend a beautiful day with P&V. The ferryman took us on the scenic route right around Black Rock so we could all see some seals.  The regatta was fun with some beautiful boats.  Please click on any photo to see detail.

2   Such a beautiful evening we had supper outside and saw foxes in the field behind our garden. They look very young and healthy.

3   The name of this wine appealed to us! Mr S always says, ‘Optimists have more fun’ and so chose this bottle.

Wine for optimists

A great bottle it looks, to be sure 🙂 Who could NOT choose that wine – great name!

I love the photos. Looks so fresh, so fresh. You know, I just might drive myself to the beach today. In Perth there was brilliant sunshine & vast, surf side ocean – but in Melbourne it only has a Bay, Port Phillip Bay. I still like to jump into the ocean though, it feels wonderful. Even mid winter, which is now. Actually Spring is soon (1 month) so we’re 2/3rds through winter.

How does that feel? You have actually inspired me to hit the ocean today!

I’m delighted to hear that I’ve inspired you! I hope you’ve had a wonderful day by the ocean. I love winter seas too but these few days of sunshine and warmth that we are getting right now are wonderful!
All the best to you 🙂
