Snow Globe, Sheep and A Front Door

We spent a delightful evening with the Prideaux Angels last night, a gentle promenade performance with dance, music and narration where the last scene outdoors was the beautiful Snow Globe. It runs until 28th December so if you can get to Padstow, there is a treat in store. You can get a delicious meal in the marquee afterwards too.

Spotted this sheep in a wool shop in Penzance this afternoon and it made me smile.

What a gorgeous door with wreath this is…….l

Pooh Bear Mirror, Lemon Curd and 100!

1  We bought this delightful mirror many years ago in Penzance and I love it still.

Humanist Wedding, Cornish Daffodils and Today’s Batch of Marmalade

1 Had my first meeting with a delightful couple today planning their Humanist Wedding for May. Lots of lovely ideas and a really productive meeting.

2  Driving down towards Penzance I again saw fields of daffodils – so glorious and on Wednesday I bought lots from the Hayle area while in Truro and now they are all open.

3  The first two batches of marmalade are made! It takes a while and some effort but the pleasure from seeing all the jars of deep orange marmalade and of knowing how it will be relished more than make up for that!

Consultation, Christmas Shopping and Kea Plum Jelly

1    Mr S had his consultation with the specialist and the date for his gallstones op has been set for 29th December. Brilliant news because there’s no need to miss Christmas and he will be well to travel to Senegal for Daniel’s wedding in April.

2  Had enough time in Penzance afterwards to do a bit of shopping and managed to solve a couple of Christmas presents.

3  Spent the evening, since I couldn’t go to sing in the Cathedral, making the Kea Plumbrillo which is now setting. Also made 5 little jars of Kea Plum Jelly so all in all a very productive day!
