Jigsaw, Flowers and Feathery Cloud

We love the  eeBoo Alchemist series of jigsaws. This is the Alchemist’s Kitchen and I forgot to take a photo of the completed one so here’s the box with the pieces from the next puzzle on the side.

I’ve brought in another gladiolus flower as the hoolies we are having today have blown it down, along with the alstroemeria and the bins!

Just noticed a pretty feathery cloud shape that I haven’t seen before. Someone will know what it’s called……

A Border, A Jigsaw and A Quotation

The wall garden border that we emptied out some time ago and planted annuals in until the autumn when we’ll fill it all with bulbs, is now overflowing with colourful blooms.
We finished our latest jigsaw which was really difficult!
I saw the following quotation today and thought it very fitting for my blog.
“The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper.”
― W.B. Yeats

Clematis, Petunia and A Jigsaw

We found our first Clematis flower today, Miss Batemen, I think, but the label has disappeared.

I planted up my birthday present planter at the weekend and already there’s a Petunia bloom.

Over the wet weekend we almost finished our latest (borrowed) jigsaw, Marketplace in France, and completed it today. This one has been a lots of fun to do.
