Unexpectedly, I had to miss singing today and it’s been a bit of a day. My lovely Mr S bought me some cheery sunflowers.
Here is a poem for you – And the Days Are Not Full Enough by Ezra Pound.
Today is the birthday of one of our twins. Her brother, born 9 minutes earlier, celebrated his birthday yesterday. Love you both xxx

Thank you. The last three days have been a whirlwind of appointments and all is now well. It seems I have had a TIA, a minor stroke, that has no lasting effect. The NHS have been wonderful from Specsavers on Wednesday afternoon, the GP on Thursday morning and the Consultant this afternoon. Lots of meds and I can’t drive for a month but they don’t expect a recurrence. Fingers crossed! 🙂

I am glad you are OK, but how scary.

Sorry to hear that. I wish you well. I had a suspected TIA 27 years ago (loss of sight for barely 10 seconds) which resulted in lots of tests. Nothing found, but it’s on my medical records and tbh been a nuisance in all sorts of ways. I’ve never had any recurrence.

Aren’t sunflowers magic?
And how clever for the twins to celebrate their birthdays on separate days, or were they born either side of midnight. One of my daughters was born at 12.10. As she popped out everyone suddenly ignored me and looked at the clock to find out which day she was born. To be honest I didn’t care!

They were born either side of midnight and I was delighted that they would each have their own day. 🙂
