That’s exactly what his expression said! I did give him the crumbs from the plate and he spent the next 5 minutes happily hoovering up! 🙂

#1 plant is Astrantia major, #2 is Phlomis Russeliana. Is this Bonython then? I visited a few years ago in June and it is a gorgeous garden. Time for another visit I think. Did you have to book?

No need to book and hardly anyone there. It is certainly a treasure to be discovered, if rather pricey. Delicious cake! 🙂

Likes shade. I have bought two small plants, one white, one red and they seem happy. The red one is in flower!
