A Walk With A Friend, A Poem and A Web

28 Sep

A ‘hippie’ friend and I had a walk around her village today in misty spider web weather so here is a gallery of some of the beautiful things we spotted and a lovely poem by the very talented Kim Ridgeon,  sent my way today by another dear friend. Click on any photo for the caption and to see more detail. My hippie friend also has two new hips!

While I was outside today I saw tons of “flying spiders” – blobs of web and strands of silk flying through the air. Made me think of your poem here!

It’s a lovely evocative poem which is why I used it – just perfect for this season. 🙂

I recognise that poem, it’s one that my brother wrote. 😍

Thank you for telling me that. I didn’t have a name for the poet. Please can you give me his full name so that I can credit him on here. 🙂
