1 Walking along the road, close to the wall in Penryn this morning, I spotted a unique rain-water collector – not conventionally ‘beautiful’ but anything that pleases me and makes me smile makes it onto these pages!
2 It is a delight every Thursday to be able to sing in harmony with others in such a beautiful place. It truly lifts the spirits.
3 Now our Himalayan Blue Poppy has opened too so we have white, yellow, pink, red and blue poppies all open in the garden this June.

Thanks for sharing your blue poppy with us. It is much appreciated as none of our five reappeared this year. Malc

You just gave me a good idea to start saving rain water for my plants. I should have thought of this sooner. We have had a nice rainy spring, now watch it dry up!! 😉

I’ve just started following your blog, but this post really made me smile. It’s nice to know that there are other people out there that find the beauty in the smallest things like I do. Thanks for sharing!

Gorgeous isn’t it? We’ve had it for three years and this is its first flowering. There are three buds. So pleased. 🙂
