Brambles, Paws and A Poppy

20 May

1   Walking through the park to town today, the new growth on the brambles was positively glowing in the sun.

2   There is a beautiful dog at the optician’s and she kept still almost long enough for me to catch her very pretty paws on camera.

3   We now have lots of yellow poppies and this one’s frilly edges are tinged with pale orange – very lovely.

I’ve always loved poppies – particularly the wild ones!

I love how you focused on all the details around you. The dog’s paws are adorable. I’ve tried growing poppies in my garden but I’ve never been successful with them. Sigh.

Thank you! The yellow poppies have just arrived in our garden! Aren’t we lucky?! 🙂

Yes! Enjoy them 🙂 We are living in the midst of lily-of-the-valley and forget-me-nots and the alliums are opening up a little bit more every day. Spring is such a delight!
