Train Journey, Marguerite and St Ives

20 Feb

1   The best train journey ever is the ten minute ride along the coast from Lelant to St Ives. The Grandchildren always love it and so do we!

2   The banks at the side of the station in St Ives were covered in bright yellow Marguerites.

3   St Ives was beautiful as always. Tide in, tide out, in sunshine or in cloud, there is always a special light there that has attracted artists for many years.

The views across Porth Kidney Beach towards Godrevy Lighthouse are gorgeous and then you go round the bend and past Carbis Bay and get lovely views of St Ives. It’s best on a sunny day but any time is beautiful! 🙂

Oh, I hope so – in the form of sunshine I hope. Forgive me for not visiting recently. As you know, every minute has been filled and today we are off to Norfolk to see Grandbaby B and her family in their new home.I don’t know if I’m going to have any internet connection…..
All the best to you and yours 🙂
