1 On our way to the Science Museum this morning, T was entranced by the busker and took him some money.
2 Outside the Natural History Museum was a seasonal ice rink where people were having a lot of fun. I have always admired ice skating and even more, roller booting, something I have always wanted to try.
3. The Science Museum kept us all amused for hours! From Stephenson’s Rocket to the Apollo Capsule and all the hands-on activities for the children – it’s a brilliant place to spend a day.

Looks like a fun day… nearly 40 and never set foot in ice rink. We have one in Cape town that I know of. Been there twice both times they were closed. Lookes like fun… thanks for sharing.

Its been a while since I strapped on skates, I say am going to, then my knees remind me of old wounds. When I was younger winter was tobogganing and skating -skating/hockey burnt of energy. Skating can be like flying without wings. Enjoyed the the photos. Thanks.

I really envy you having been a skater, as I say I just love the look of it and that which you say, when you skate it feels like flying, oh, I can see that! I’m afraid my skating days are past without ever having been! I am too scared of injury!

The Science Museum is great for children (and adults!) with it’s ‘hands on’ activities. I recently visited the Natural History Museum to see ‘The Wildlife Photographer of the Year’ Exhibition which was absolutely wonderful! They were only just setting up the ice rink at that time and my sister and I decided we’d go back nearer to Christmas with the rest of the family to give it a whirl! Little T looks so cute in that first photo! 🙂

Have tried the ice skating to no avail…fall, fall and fall…plus it’s cold…We did take our special kids and they had special walkers for them…That I could have used too!
I do roller skate…but, not for awhile…and not all that good…

Love the images, especially the top one. So good to see the skating down the road. We’ve often stood there and watched. We’re coming to London for Christmas and your photos have increased our fervour for getting there.The Science Museum is a magnificent place to visit.

Thanks, good to know hte icerink is back. I so love all the museums there, I used to go often with my children too. I used to live round the corner of it. I love that area!
