1 A good friend sent me this quotation from John Wesley:
2 We harvested all the the rest of the broad beans today and blanched and froze most of them, just saving back enough for supper and for delicious Broad Bean Hummus for lunch.
3 The light was beautiful at dusk and lit the White Dahlias to perfection.

How do you make your hummus? We make it from canned chick peas. Lately, we have started with dried ones. Your hummus looks delicious.

Hello, I made it with some canned chick peas and lots (about twice as many) cooked and skinned broad beans(so that it was really green and fresh looking and tasting), plenty of fresh garlic, freshly ground black pepper, some olive oil, lemon juice and some grated rind – all to taste – and it tasted as good as it looks. I put chopped chives on top but none in the mixture though, of course, you could.
Hope you do make some 🙂

That sounds easy. We often add cayenne to spice it up. Thanks for the directions.
