We’ve had another day of showing P some more of Cornwall’s treasures. I’m going to tell the story and show you all the beautiful things of the day through a Gallery. Just click on any photo and it will enlarge and you can move on to the next one.
- The Cove at the Lizard, the most Southerly part of Britain
- The Lizard lighthouse
- Did you know?
- This enormous hole is called The Lion’s Den
- Caution – The Lion’s Den
- From The Lion’s Den, overlooking Housel Bay
- Delivery bike in a garden at the Lizard
- Garden sculptures in a garden at the Lizard
- Ann’s Pasty Shop
- Cornish Pasty from Ann’s Pasties. Thought I’d try the vegetable version this time and it was just as delicious!
- From the Lizard we drove to Kynance Cove and in the National Trust car park were these beautiful creatures.
- Part of the beautiful carved information board in the N.T. car-park
- Kynance Cove
- Beautiful serpentine rock
- Serpentine and driftwood on the beach
- Driftwood benches
- More beautifully grained serpentine. I love this beach!
- Watch out sign
- Kynance Cove and the air-sea rescue helicopter
- We met Choir-baby E on the beach with her beautiful Mum
- As we left the beach I noticed this little lost bucket being drawn into the water by the incoming tide.
The day was rounded off with choir practice and learning a beautiful Lebanese song from a Lebanese friend of Claire’s who is visiting Cornwall.
