Walking around the garden this afternoon, I was delighted to see so many flowers ready to open – Crocuses, little Daffodils, Grape Hyacinths. There are Pansies and a few Narcissi blooming already but just the odd one here and there, no swathes! Sadly the Snowdrops mostly came and went while we were away. The evening clouds were delicate and peachy despite moving through the sky at an alarming rate as the strong winds continue.

Mother’s Day, Pot-Luck Lunch and Pansies
1 Presents, cards, phone calls and text – what lovely kids we have!
2 Made a fabulous Caramelised Onion Jalousie for a pot-luck lunch with Humanist friends today. Glorious venue too overlooking Falmouth Bay. Thanks to Maria for hosting.
3 Our neighbours-on-the-other side gave us a tray of beautiful little pansies as they have too many for their garden.Thank you H&D. I’ll get planting tomorrow.
