Ripples, Reflection and A Rock

I took a detour today to go by Swanpool – no swans where I was but a Coot and some beautiful reeds. I love the wriggly reflections of the reeds in the water.

Where I parked there was a long muddy and still puddle where the trees were beautifully reflected.

I went to help the lovely Mr S with some last jobs on Skippalong before she goes back into the water tomorrow morning. I left the Kernow Rock that I found the other day in the nearby carpark, having added the words, ‘Be happy’ to it.

In A Window, Front Garden and My Stone

Down an alley in town, in a window high up above the people, was a forgotten Father Christmas figure looking out down the alley .

Our front garden is full of Daffodils underneath the Silver Birch and near the  dark purple Pittosporum.

I found a Kernow Rock in town a couple of days ago. I’m going to take that one into Truro tomorrow. I found a small rock in our garden, washed and painted it and today took it to hide in a Cornish hedge…….. It is turquoise with the words ‘Be kind. Be happy’ written on it.

Ladybird, Kernow Rock and More Minton Tiles

A Ladybird visited us this morning. It was very tiny, less that 5mm in length and very busy. It was hard to catch a photo as it rarely stood still.

I spotted something pink under one of the Welly Dogs in town this morning and discovered a Kernow Rock. Small decorated rocks are being hidden all over Cornwall, waiting to be found and re-hidden for someone else to find. I shall take it out with me tomorrow……

Here are the other two antique Minton tiles being used to decorate our veg trug.

A comment was made that a veg trug was a new idea so here is the trug, not a beautiful picture as the stones are awaiting their Spring wash, but as it is!
