Yesterday I went to a garden party held to thank all the people who volunteer in one way or another at The Buttermarket in Redruth. As regular readers will know, I bake for the market each month and that’s why I was there. A fabulous spread was put on for us all and  I was, very kindly, invited to take home Tiramisu for later for myself and for my lovely Mr S. We thoroughly enjoyed it, of course!

There were just enough of our own tomatoes to make a  small Caprese salad for lunch.

Over the three heatwaves, where going into the garden hasn’t really been an option for me, we have, at odd times, got on with our latest jigsaw. It proved to be quite a challenge, even more so after I lost two pieces. If you look carefully at the table at the top of the jigsaw, you’ll see the gap in the wood. This is where the extension happens and I lost two pieces down the gap. They didn’t go straight through to the floor but have got caught up in the mechanism of our “Majic” table.
