While I was out singing this morning, the lovely Mr S took some photos of our regular squirrel visitor as he knows how much I love watching its antics trying to get at the bird seed.
A few years ago, a young man in Cornwall started the Cornwall Christmas Box scheme. He had the idea to collect together in a box, all the items needed for a Christmas dinner for a family in need. Today we dropped off three boxes of Christmas dinners at the collection point nearest to us. In 2019, 1171 boxes were donated by the wonderful people of Cornwall and last year the number was 3254! This year the need will be even greater.

Got the exact same squirrel here, a well travelled little brat he is. I know its not the same squirrel. But.
Good idea. I was thinking of do something similar here, locally, with people on my road.

I don’t know cars but I did like the look of that one, soft top and all. Have fun making up your box, it’s fun to make a surprise for someone. 🙂

For years I made up all the fixings for a Christmas breakfast, to drop them off to the elderly. Um, but now am approaching elderly status. Oh well, I guess one is as young as one feels.
