Lovers’ Lane, Norwegian Dog and A Bee

23 Aug

1    The sun was lighting up Lovers’ Lane as I walked by today making it look quite delightful. Although it is still August there is a definite feeling of Autumn in the air and quite a lot of leaves are already off the trees.

2  Lots of people were admiring a very beautiful and very big dog outside the butcher’s shop today. Apparently it is a Norwegian Hunting dog.

3   The bees were enjoying the nectar in these curly purple flowers whose name escapes me just now!

I can see myself walking down that lane – beautiful! I am sure in a few months time it will be aglow of fall colors. It has been fall like here in Pennsylvania too – nice change from the normal humidity we have in August.

Fall seems to be happening early for us all then. My SIL in Atlanta tells me that colours are changing there already too.

A friend said she had to put a jacket on her children as they left for school this morning and they live in South Carolina…yikes – it sure doesn’t sound too good does it?! :O

According to the owner, they are easy to look after and only need 2lbs of dry food in the morning and just drinks in the day! I guess you would need a big house too! 🙂

Yes, there is the feel of autumn in the air. I am busy knitting my cardigan and hope to finish before it gets cold 🙂
