Buckets and Spades, A Message and A White Petunia

27 Aug

1 An un-natural quiet descended upon us this morning as the family left at 7.30am. We’ve been busy putting all the Grandkidlet equipment back in the loft and the beach stuff back in the shed.

2  On the back of the kitchen door, we discovered something very beautiful prepared for us by J who, at 4 and 3/4 starts school in a few weeks.

Love the photo of the beach toys…it reminds me of when I was their size. Little sweetheart left a darling message, and I too love the glow of white flowers in the evening.

I love the message on the door. It’s good to have the pictures to record them.

What a neat patio, especially after having the grankiddos. Loved the message written on the shells. What beach is it you go to? My geographical grasp of England is limited to my two brief visits, and the stories of my best friend from Nuneaton, near Coventry, so it won’t be an “oh yeah” moment, but informative. Thanks for another fun post.

Our preferred beach is Porthtowan on the North Cornwall coast, only 10 mins away! 🙂

That’s what I thought…beyond my knowing. I do remember a Duchess of Cornwall at some point in English history. Going to look it up on a map.
