Walking Holiday in Cornwall 1

22 Jul

Our eldest daughter and a friend have been staying with us and doing some beautiful walks in this gorgeous part of Cornwall. For the next few days, I shall be using their photographs to show you how lovely this part of the world is.

Day One was a walk along the coast from Portreath to Chapelporth where, mid-afternoon,ย they came across the strangest pink mist.

We are away for a week at the Womad Festival so I won’t be reading or commenting and have pre-scheduled the next week’s posts. I hope you enjoy them.

Reminds me of Cape Breton or the other way around. Hill wise and foggy mist wise.

    Enjoy the music and shtufffs.

We had some fog in Iowa this morning. The scenery is nearly as nice. That pink mist is intriguing. Were you facing the sun?

My daughter took the photo. Given that the sun sets into the sea at this point and it was afternoon, I reckon she was. ๐Ÿ™‚

I so love how blogging connects people from all over the world! ๐Ÿ™‚
