1 Today’s eggs are so beautiful – feathers and straw included!
2 The Forget-me-nots are in flower providing a haze of blue in the back garden.
3 I like to put Narcissi in Mum’s vase at this time of year as Mum always did. This amber coloured glass bowl with its special weighted inner with holes to separate the flowers was one of their Wedding presents in 1939!

I rescued a few primroses around fourteen years ago when I first came to live here. The poor things were lying in the lane having been torn from the bank under the hedge by the passing wheels of tractors with ever increasing wheel circumferences. They have rewarded me by proliferating so I have carpets of them in my garden that once was a bare field.

That sounds lovely! I’m hoping ours will proliferate too. Thank you so much for all your lovely comments! 🙂

Do you have chickens? I love the dainty bluebells They used to self sow all over my NZ garden but they don’t seem to like the humidity over here. I must try them again though as it didn’t seem so humid this year

To think that you have a wedding gift of your Mothers…How neat is that!…and I love that you use it at least once a year!…The flower holder with holes…It seems my Mom called that a “frog”…remember anything like that?

Oh how precious! I especially envy you the forget-me-nots. It will be quite awhile before those appear in my Toronto garden! Thank you for the reminder 🙂

I love Forget-me-nots! Yours will be along before too long I hope. I love how they self-seed and create the haze of colour. Thank you for taking the time to comment. 🙂
